Good Afternoon Blue Marlin Families,

Welcome to the NSJ 2026 season. We have almost 180 swimmers registered so far. The coaches and managers hope your family is excited for another fun summer swim team experience. We look forward to seeing you all at the first practice of the summer on Wednesday, May 27. It looks like all this rain should clear by Wednesday, but we do practice in the rain!  We will cancel practices for Lightning/Thunder but not for rain. We will communicate any practice cancellations as quickly as possible via Swimtopia so please be sure to allow notifications.

Our goal is to send weekly emails with information for practices, swim meets, pep rallies, and more. Practice, schedule, and other information can be found on the team’s website. If you have additional questions, find us at the pool or email us at [email protected].

New Parent’s Meeting

Please join us under the pavilion on Wednesday, May 27 at 6pm (rain date Friday 5/29) for an introduction with coaches and managers.

Swimsuits and Caps

Cy’s swimwear will be on site Thursday May 28 from 4:00 – 7:00pm with the team’s swimsuit. They often bring practice swimsuits and accessories for purchase as well.

If you ordered an NSJ swim cap during swim team registration, we have them in stock. Please find Brendon or Dave on the Blue Marlin Grill side of the pool during practices to collect your cap(s). We will have additional caps available for purchase ($15 cash only).

NSJ Swag

The NSJ Swag Store is open from today 5/22/26 through Wednesday, 6/3/26.  You must place your oder within these dates to ensure fulfillment of your order.

Practice

We will cover this more during our parent meeting, but please stay off the pool deck during practice. This is for the safety of swimmers and coaches. Enjoy watching your kids improve from the relaxing lounge chairs!

Swimtopia is the app you will want to download to your phone. This is how we will send alerts for any weather related practice cancellations, etc.  It is also how you will sign up for volunteer positions, see your swimmer's times, etc throughout the season.  It is the primary method for almost all of what we do throughout the swim season, so please download it or you may miss communications during the summer.

Last but not least, please bring any outstanding registration payments to Brendon or Dave at practice on Wednesday if you chose to pay by check.
